Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Dry, tart cherry.  Hints of semi-sour and bright apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth apple with some semi-sour and bright notes. A dry and tart bright red cherry. Bit of grit.
After Taste: Semi long-lasting that becomes drier. A hit of astringency. Earthier cherries with fermentation notes noticeable here. Cherry also becomes a bit drier here at the finish.
On ice: Slightly less flavourful.

Additional Notes:  Howell Road’s Cherry is a blend of tart and dry cherries and apples – a simple yet intriguing cider.  It becomes a bit more earthy and fermentation focused  in the aftertaste.  Think fresh, bright red cherries with a medium acidity, and semi-crisp apple. A drier cherry cider overall.
