Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Red wine heavy. Tart pear. Funky and rustic.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Funky red wine upfront. Acidic. Tart, semi-juicy pear. Red plum notes.
After Taste: Red wine largely clears out, with the tart pear remaining and lingering. Some fermentation notes here. A bit creamy at the finish.
On ice: A slightly smoother experience, slightly thinner. Slightly less punchy.

Additional Notes: West Avenue’s Cold Snap we believe is a single varietal pear “Cold Snap” varietal, with cabernet sauvignon wine infused. Heavy on the red wine upfront, it then leads into an almost exclusive pear at the finish. Tart, a bit funky, the pear is semi-juicy, fleshy and has a natural sweet note to it. Some plum notes, from the wine. A finish that’s slightly creamy with some fermentation notes.
