Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Lime and agave smell, some saline and funk.
Initial Taste: Lite bite from carbonation. Balanced apple that’s a little funky and pulpy. Lime is pulpy, smooth. Tequila is present, boozy but not overpowering.
After Taste: Apple remains with more saline/salty notes in the finish. Slight wood-y elements.
On ice: Becomes dramatically reduced, almost removes all the barreling and saline notes. A bit “cooling”.
Additional Notes: Two Bloke’s Manzanita is a lime and tequila offering perfect for drinking at celebrations. The aroma is light, with lime pulp and a sweeter agave, but due to the tequilas oaked chips its aged on, its kinda boozy (but still decently balanced to drink). The lime is definitely pulpy, not zesty, and its stronger than the apples. The promised salt really comes through in the finish. Not as lime-forward as a margarita would be, it still is a hybrid cider cocktail-insipired drink done well.
