Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Heavy caramelized apple notes. Sharp ginger spicing. Murky, pulpy apple. Lemon-like notes.
After Taste: Apple becomes smoother with notes of cinnamon coming through. Ginger becomes sweeter, less gripping. Vanilla frosting-like flavour. Ends on bruised apple notes.
On ice: Elements less intense but flavours remain the same.

Additional Notes:  Saunders’ Christmas themed Ginger Snap Gingerbread Cider is a tribute to the holiday celebrations that take place on their farm every year. A very bold cider, it tastes like it smells. A rich caramelized apple base and sharp ginger notes greet you right at the nose. It becomes a smoother ginger with some cinnamon notes in the finish, with the base becoming more bruised apple tasting in the end. A hint of vanilla-like frosting flavours. A murkier looking cider than other Ontario ciders also spiced in the same fashion.
