Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Pulpy and acetic.  Hint of natural apple sweetness
Initial Taste: Medium bite.  Sour, but also semi-creamy apples with a bit of brightness and barnyard funk.  Dry and slightly earthy. A bit of tannin notes hidden within the acidity. Green and red peel notes.
After Taste: Apple dissipates revealing a longer-lingering fermentation focused finish.  Becomes a bit dank and a touch of plastic and oxidation. 
On ice: Flavour and intensity slightly reduced

Additional Notes: The Modern Girl by Grey & Gold is a sour and funky cider. Smelling very barnyard funk, it does have some stronger fermentation notes with a slightly tannic and sour base. Earthy and dank, it’s not overly apple forward in the traditional sense, as some of the natural sweetness is hidden.  Blend of red flesh apples with some green sour elements.
