Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Earthy and pulpy apple with farmhouse funk.
Initial Taste:  Strong bite. Quickly acidic and funky apple with bitter-sharp apples. Tartness. Lemon and mild wood notes. Farmhouse undertones.
After Taste: Once the carbonation reduces, acidity drops and more apple flavours become present. Smoother mouthfeel with bright apple notes emerging.  Not overly long lingering. 
On ice: Very minimal change. A touch less acidic.

Additional Notes:  The Farmgate Wild Apple is funky and acidic, but not overpowering.  A mix of bitter-sharp apples with a lot of tannic elements in this full-bodied cider.  Mostly dry, and pretty apple forward.  A lot of flavour and pop, with some citric notes. Has both sophistication and wild farmhouse elements.
