Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Pulpy and funky apples with strong fermentation notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Decently funky and pulpy apple. Pear-like notes.
After Taste: Funk and grit dissipate, leaves a longer lingering, citrus elements. An under layer of raspberry but not prominent and short lived here.
On ice: Thinner, less flavour and aftertaste shortens dramatically with missing elements
Additional Notes: Completely different then its Alma predecessor, the Rosie by Fleuri is a semi-thick, pulpy and funky apple cider. Only mild raspberry notes, its unfiltered with a bit of fermentation – it looks very cloudy and thick. Consistency is closer to a perry than a cider. It has a lot of particles but doesn’t impact the body much.
