Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Acidic, pulpy, farmhouse notes. Some sulphur. Heritage apple notes.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite from carbonation. Quickly acidic and tart. Yellow and red apple notes. Peel elements.
After Taste: Bolder elements reduce, becomes a creamier apple. Some fleshy aspects here. Lingering farmhouse and fermentation notes.
On ice: Less acidic and sour. A bit smoother overall.
Additional Notes: Daughter’s Cider Classic is a most definitely a farmhouse made and inspired dry cider that features a lot of different apple elements and flavour notes in its profile. Starting off a bit more acidic and tart, it becomes smoother and creamier in the finish. We detect both yellow and red apple notes here, as it has northern spy, golden russet, cortland and royal gala in it. A dry offering with a mild carbonation.
