Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Mild smell – sour, astringent and musty. Faint apple.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Sour apple flavour. Musty and slightly bitter. Mild pine notes.
After Taste: Apple flavour remains. Becomes astringent. Not long-lingering. Tonic water finish.
On ice: Bite is slightly reduced – as well as flavour. Ice cuts astringency but not mustiness.

Additional Notes: Ironwood Original Cider is a light, single variety-flavoured cider that is straightforward on the palate; it does not have a lot of distinguishable layers from start to finish. Would be great as a cocktail base.
