Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright, crisp apple. Hint of tangy sweet cherry, almost candied.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. The quick bitter sharp apple base comes through. Clean acidity. Some tangy cherry peaks through. Tingly and mildly sour.
After Taste: The cherry becomes stronger and more sharp while apple weakens. As cherry moves towards being smoother and more candied in nature than in the initial taste. Lingering cherry notes that stay for awhile.
On ice: Cuts carbonation and tang a lot. Cherry flavour somewhat reduced. Smoother overall.

Additional Notes:  Crimson’s Cherrific is basically a bag of cherry blaster candies in a bottle. The cider starts off more apple focused – bittersharp tasting mostly to us – and then becomes a stronger cherry into the finish. Tangy and tart, it’s a bright cider overall that’s easy to consume. A tingly carbonation and acidity elevates the offering.
