Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Warming cinnamon. Bourbon spirit. Smokiness. Muddled apples. Woodsy.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Quick cinnamon that’s a bit spicy and warming. Orange and citrus like elements. Pulpy sharp apples.
After Taste: Bourbon barreling notes emerge – which includes woody and vanilla notes. A delicate smokiness that lingers.
On ice: Bourbon barreling notes stripes. Cinnamon is more focused.

Additional Notes:  Two Blokes Fireside is an apple toddy-inspired cider that can be drank when you are sick (like the traditional toddies are), or not! A boldly flavour cider, it has a lot of elements. Cinnamon seems to hit the senses first, being a bit spicy and a bit warming. Orange and citrus notes add unique notes. The apple base is sharp and a bit pulpy. Then, into the aftertaste, comes the promised bourbon notes – woody barreling, vanilla and spirit astringency. There is also a delicate smokiness that weaves in between all of these flavours, and it lingers a bit in the finish. It certainly tastes like something you enjoy by a campfire!
