Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Thick, medium to strong smell of beer with a secondary smell of creamy apple pulp.
Initial Taste: Medium bite, apple taste (Very little lager/beer taste)
After Taste: Taste finishes with an apple tingle, somewhat syrupy.
On ice: Less carbonation, smoother drink.
Additional Notes: What smells like a beer tastes much more like a cider. Mad Jack apple lager could easily be mistaken for a cider, which is probably the case. With little taste of hops, is surprises you with its mild, smooth taste.
Comparison to Hard Core Apple version: Hard core is sweeter with a bit more kick in the carbonation. Original has a bit more of a malty taste.
