Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Fermented lemon. Some apple characteristics.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth and semi-bold lemon that is a little earthy and tart but not sour or puckering. A caramelized lemon skin element to it. Lots of zest. Dessert apple base.
After Taste: Lemon reduces leaving a bit of a film that’s smoother and slightly bitter.  Average length of mouthfeel in the aftertaste.
On ice: Stripped carbonation

Additional Notes:  Verger Hemmingford’s Soleil is described as a sparkling lemonade + cider blend. Featuring bright lemon juice, its not too sour and it has some earthy but clean elements to it.  Apple base holds a bit of bright apple but this one is mostly clean lemon forward with a bunch of zest.  Quite crisp and uplifting, great for a hot day as its thirst quenching. Very shandy/radler-like.
