Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Light aroma. Crisp fleshy apple with a hint of red apple peel.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Smooth apple flavour that builds to be more tannic and peel focused. Some acidity.
After Taste: Apple becomes more soft, along with mouthfeel. Honeycrisp-like hints. Very clean finish.
On ice: Reduced carbonation. Watered down flavours.
Additional Notes: Twin Pines’ Hammer Bent Red is a lighter cider drinking experience, with soft and clean apples, and a mild acidity to add some complexity. With a balanced red apple flavour thats mostly peel focused, its got a hint of tannins, but is very smooth and clean overall. Becomes very watered down on ice, so we would not recommend.
