Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Dragon fruit and lemonade forward with noticeable mango. Light, minimal apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth and sweet juicy mango, dragon fruit and some lemon.  A touch of dessert apples, soft and fresh. Dragon fruit tastes a bit candied and artificial/concentrated.
After Taste: As the flavours  dissipate quickly, some more apple notes come though that are a little bit peel-like. Touch of bitter lemon.
On ice: Flavour and sweetness is dramatically cut.

Additional Notes:  Thornbury’s Mango Lemonade Dragonfruit is a lighter, fruit forward offering at 4.5%.   With lots of uplifting juicy dragon fruit, mango and some lemon elements. Somewhat sweet and light in apple flavour, it reminds us of a fruity childhood drink.  Flavour dissipates somewhat quickly leaving a little bit more apple peel in the aftertaste.  A little bitter lemon zest in the finish. Dragon fruit does taste artificial, but the ingredients do say its freeze dried fruit.
