Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Funky and zesty, dank lime. A hint of apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation.  Dank, earthy lime skin that’s ripe and zesty. Slight dessert apple notes.
After Taste: Becomes less apple flavoured, and clears out somewhat quickly.  Remaining earthy lime peel/zest reminisce.
On ice: Little change. Slightly more earthy/danker.

Additional Notes:  A member of Thornbury’s Craft Cider seltzer series, their Lime is grittier and dank than other cider seltzers we’ve had from them and otherwise.This one is pretty lime zest forward, thick and earthy – not bright like some other lime seltzer offerings.  Not much apple, and has a stronger, semi-pungent smell.  Has a heavier mouthfeel than a traditional seltzer with a bunch of flavour and body. Cleans out of the mouth pretty quickly however.
