Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Juicy pear – flesh and skin. Crisp acidity.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Semi-sweet pear – bartlett and bosc -like notes. Some skin and tannins. Acidity. Some sweetness.
After Taste: Pear notes soften a bit, as well as tannins and acidity. Sugars linger a bit. Clean finish that leans more juicy.
On ice: Becomes smoother, less carbonation and acidity. More juice-like. Slightly less pear overall.

Additional Notes:  Spirit Tree’s Pear Cider is an approachable, middle of the road perry that has a lot of natural pear notes, and some sweetness but not too much. With crisp perry notes, we detected bosc and bartlett like notes. Some tannins and acidity add depth and sharpness to it. Some sugars linger in the aftertaste, but not too sweet of a perry overall. A juicy experience overall.
