Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Muddled peach + pit. Effervescence.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Dank apple upfront, slightly gritty (Possible from peach skin tannins here). Then dank, overripe peach flesh emerges.
After Taste: Peach and apple notes become cleaner and very juicy. Slight prosecco notes. White wine flavours and tingly body.
On ice: Flavour and body dramatically cut. Less juicy and drier.
Additional Notes: Slabtown’s Peach Bellini is a unique cider indeed. Starting off with dank apple and gritty peach skin notes, its decently dark and with a strong overripe peach flesh taste and body here. However, it becomes much cleaner into the aftertaste and more like the cocktail it aspires to be. The apple and peach notes become cleaner and very juicy. You get some light sparkling white wine notes and semi-tingly body at the end, like the prosecco added to your standard bellini. A natural peach flavour throughout, even if it changes a lot in profile, with some brightness but not sweet.
