Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Candied peach and sweet dessert apples
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation that is tingly.  Sweet peach that is slightly sugared but fresh and juicy. Some fleshy dessert apples.
After Taste: Carbonation reduces making the peach aftertaste even stronger and more forward – with a medium apple.  Remains sweet with a slight film.
On ice: Less carbonation, little change

Additional Notes:  The Peach Apple by Shale Ridge is a very light, peach forward offering. Sweet and candied but not sugary, it’s only 4.2% but fresh and juicy.  Not much apple overall, it reminds us very much of the peach drinks of our childhood. Pretty clean as there are no fermentation elements, so its easy to drink, with a tingly and uplifting carbonation.
