Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Light aroma. Bright apple, some musty elements.  Some dessert sweetness.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Bright, fleshy apple with a touch of fermentation elements – slightly musty.
After Taste: Apple dissipates leaving a peel finish which lingers a very long time.  Very dry finish, tart and slightly gritty. Quite wine-like
On ice: Ice cuts most elements, including apple – more wine-like.

Additional Notes:  Rise & Ruin’s The Classic is a blend of dry apple that has a strong boozy vibe from the fermentation process. Lots of bright apples that are more noticeable in the aftertaste. Mostly dessert apples we taste – hints of sweet elements – a very classic cider, as the name suggests.
