Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Smooth, sweet apples. Slightly floral.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth, creamy apples that have a touch of tannic elements but not a strong acidity. Tastes like a bruised and baked apple. Mild savoury floral notes.
After Taste: Caramelized notes show up in the aftertaste, as the apple dissipates. Lingering sugars on palate.
On ice: Dramatically reduced flavour but the apple is more crisp.
Additional Notes: A collaboration with Bar Volo in Toronto, the Revel Sidro is a light, wild fermented, yet still clean offering. Savoury floral notes add uniqueness. Much softer (and sweeter) than most Revel Ciders, it’s lightly carbonated and effervescent. Some bruised and baked apple elements. Inspired by UK style pub ciders, this has both UK & Canadian influences. A very unique cider for the the Canadian market. Sidro is cider in Italian.
