Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Citra hops. Tropical medley of notes – mostly pineapple. Bright, semi-creamy apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick medley of tropical fruit notes – orange, pineapple and lemon. Some natural fruit sugars here. Balanced but bold hops. A bit of acidity and sharpness.
After Taste: Hops become more “wet” and smooth. Apples are more obvious as pineapple dwindles. Lingering hops and fruit notes with a bit of grit on the palate.
On ice: Slightly reduced elements, in particular the hops grits.

Additional Notes:  Niagara Cider’s collaboration with the Society of Beer Drinking ladies (their first cider collab!) is a fruit forward, balanced hops offering. Featuring a medley of tropical notes, you get pineapple and orange specifically, with generic citrus notes, including from the citra hops presumably. The hops are present and add a lot of flavour and depth, but its still balanced and not intimidating for fans unfamiliar with hopped ciders. Smooth and flavour forward. Decently crisp also.
