Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Dry apple base. Flesh and peel. Some earthy and fermentation notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-tart, acidic, sharp, dry apples. Flesh heavy here. Some tannins.
After Taste: Becomes a bit grittier as more peel notes emerge. Acidity continues, slowly wanes. Fermentation notes present here. Lingering peel notes and tannin.
On ice: Cuts body and edge. A smoother apple, less acidity.
Additional Notes: The June Dry Cider by Muskoka lakes is apart of their Bottle Craft Series. A dry cider, it has a forward acidity and tannin. Sharp apples throughout, it shifts from being more flesh tasting to peel in the finish. A refreshing tannin that doesn’t distract but enhances. Decently crisp and most definitely craft. Somewhat long lasting.
