Smell: Medium aroma. Deep, muddle blueberry. Wine-like. Hint of apple flesh.
Initial Taste: Mild bite. A hefty, muddled, jammy blueberry that has some wild notes. Slightly tart. Some fermentation notes and a bit off-dry.
After Taste: Blueberry becomes a slightly thinner, leading way for some apple to peek through. Some grit and earthiness. Mild lingering natural sugars. Long-lasting.
On ice: Thins out the body. A slightly weakened flavour profile.
Additional Notes: Muskoka Lake’s Back Flip Blueberry is a wholehearted blueberry experience, with them not skimping on the titular flavour. A hefty muddled, jammy blueberry greets you quickly. It almost tastes wine-like at times, with a boozy and thick mouthfeel. Blueberries are off-dry, tasting very naturally sweet. The apple only really peaks through near the finish, as the blueberry things out. A bit gritty and earthy, a very fruit appreciation cider.
