Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet, pulpy apple. Slightly candied pear. Some caramel notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Blend of sweet dessert apples with a thick, syrupy pear. Slight earthy elements.
After Taste: As the apple dissipates, the pear becomes more noticeable, slightly brighter. Sweet residue remains in a long lasting aftertaste.
On ice: Less carbonation, thinner body.
Additional Notes: The Poire by McAdam Cider is a sweet apple cider base with a thick, juicy yet a touch of dank pear. Lots of body in this from sugars, it has a long aftertaste that finished with a syrup note. Uplifting but still has some earthy notes. Balanced to start, it finished much more pear-like.
