Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Medium, sweet pineapple with sharp peppers. Some funkiness.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Sweet and soft dessert apples upfront that are followed by a candied pineapple.  Some noticeable chili-like peppers provide just a touch of spice but nothing more.
After Taste: Dissipates and becomes very soft, yellow-fleshed-like apple with a long lingering sweet finish. Slight hints of chili pepper that builds in the back of the throat.
On ice: Thinner with chili harshness cut.  If its too much heat, ice helps.

Additional Notes: The Pineapple Chili cider from Magnotta Winery is quite unique. With a sweet and pulpy apple base, it also has a quick noticeable juicy and candied pineapple that dissipates quickly. During that, spicy chili hits are there, but they are more of a mild discomfort then intensity found with other potent ciders with peppers. Lingering for a long time, it becomes very yellow-apple flavoured but the chili builds as you drink.  Ice to help cut any issues, thought its still a low on the intensity scale.
