Smell: Strong aroma. Juicy, punchy passionfruit. Mild, sweet apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick candied, semi-tart passionfruit. Dessert apple.
After Taste: Passionfruit becomes a bit sweeter, more mellowed. Long lingering tropical fruit notes.
On ice: A minor reduction in flavour and mouthfeel – including sugar.
Additional Notes: Lacroix’s Passion Fruit (Fruit de la passion) cider is a juicy, tropical experience in a can, with bright, tart, passion fruit the entire journey. A long-lingering experience its mainly passion fruit, with a bit of red dessert apple noticeable. Some sweetness, but seems mostly fruit-driven. Ends on a medley of tropical flavours and vibes. Must like passionfruit to appreciate this cider.
