Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-sweet with ginger and some earthy notes.  A little metallic elements
Initial Taste: No bite (still) with some acidic semi-sweet apples. Tannic apples with a bit of earthy notes. Some hopped notes early on.
After Taste:  Classic, traditional ginger flavour comes though at the aftertaste.  Raw and natural, it’s not over powering and it complements the mild hops flavour that slightly citric and candied.
On ice: Smoother on ice, less acidic.  A lot less hops and ginger.

Additional Notes:   A balanced offering from Kings Mill that carefully blends hops with ginger on their standard apple base. The still version shows the flavours full on display without carbonation to mask anything. Tannic but approachable apples start the journey but become almost non-existence once you swallow. Hops are sweet and make it almost bubble gum-like and adds just that bit of flavour to the mixture.  Light in mouthfeel, heavy on ABV. Would be great with food as it is a little acidic.  One bottle is enough for an enjoyable experience.
