Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet yuzu and slightly tart/tangy citrus.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation and acidity. Quick and strong yuzu thats forward and accurate. Lemon/orange aspects. Some tanginess. Mild citrus bitterness.
After Taste: A soft apple emerges here, but still  yuzu and citrus dominate. Tingy, refreshing finish.
On ice: Reduced carbonation. Slightly weakened flavour but not really changed.

Additional Notes:  Ironwood’s Yuja Cider delivers on a strong and bold yuzu flavour that is natural and accurate. A tingly body greets you, as well as a quick and strong yuzu flavour. Notes of lemon and orange also are present. The apples are most definitely secondary but are soft in the finish. Very refreshing and does lean sweeter overall.
