Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet lime. Slight zest
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Sweet and bright key-lime-like flavours quickly emerging. Sparkling backbone. Hints of dessert apples. Mild lime tartness.
After Taste: Lime cleans out quickly, leaving a light apple base. Some tonic water notes. Dry, clean finish.
On ice: Slightly less carbonation and flavour.  Thinner body, less carbonation = makes lime a little more noticeable.

Additional Notes:  The Ciderita Caribbean Lime by Ironwood Cider is a light, seemingly key-lime focused offering.  It’s more of a spritzer than anything, though no added water as per the ingredients/naming. A lighter ABV of 4.2% that finishes quickly with a little tartness.  The dry apple base acts as an amplifier for the lime, and does not have many apple characteristics of its own.
