Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Juicy, tart raspberry dominant. Hints of lemon zest.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from tartness, acidity and carbonation. Quick muddled ripe raspberry. Mild pulpy apple that includes green apple characteristics.
After Taste: As raspberry slowly weakens, more apple notes appear. Lemon juice becomes more obvious and sour. Long lingering tart notes. Earthy hints. 
On ice: Cuts a lot of body and tartness. Smoother. Much less raspberry.

Additional Notes:  Howell Road’s Raspberry Lemonade screams summer in a can. Very tart, sometimes sour, it draws from both the lemon and raspberry for a semi-puckering experience. It starts off very raspberry dominant, with the lemon becoming more clear in the finish. Not much apple, it appears slightly at first, a bit more in the finish, but you could definitely fool people for this not being a hard apple cider if they didn’t know.
