Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet dessert apple. Hints of sulphur and farmhouse notes.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. A quickly bright apple medley thats semi-sweet, naturally so. Green apple tang-like notes. Some fermentation notes. Mild bitterness.
After Taste: The apple base becomes smoother, bitterness dissipates. Golden apple notes here. Ends on natural sweetness, with honey-like notes.
On ice: Carbonation is striped. Apple notes and elements decently watered down.
Additional Notes: Hall Market’s Oh So Sweet is a naturally sweet cider that doesn’t have any listed sugars added in the ingredients. You get a medley of apple notes and characteristics, seemingly bittersharp in nature, and some golden and green apple notes peaking through. You get some fermentation and bitterness upfront, but that goes away decently quick, for a smooth, semi-sweet finish that lingers (with a honey-like note emerging). While it has some farmhouse and sulphur notes in the smell, they do not come across when consuming.
