Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. semi-pulpy apples with hints of sulphur and farmhouse notes. Some natural sweetness.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-dry to start. Fleshy and pulpy apple has a variety of elements, including tart, semi-sweet and a bit acidic. Very juice forward, some green apple notes. Fermentation and acidity.
After Taste: The apple becomes juicier in the aftertaste. Some honey-like notes emerge here.
On ice: Carbonation reduced, along with overall pulpy and apple elements.
Additional Notes: Hall Market’s Just Ripe is a farmhouse style cider that is very natural tasting. With lots of apple elements, it starts off with more peel, fermentation and acidity. It becomes more juicy and pulpy as the drink continues with hints of honey in the aftertaste. Pretty hazy as its unfiltered, you get a lot of the raw, straight-from-the-orchard elements in this one.
