Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Bright, fleshy apple. Light acidity.
Initial Taste: A medium and sharp bite from carbonation. A quick tangy, bright apple. Yellow-variety characteristics. Apple-forward with some tannins. Juicy and a refreshing acidity.
After Taste: Apple notes remain the same and linger awhile. Becomes slightly drier as it finishes. Some earthiness.
On ice: Reduced carbonation, less sharp.
Additional Notes: A bright and traditional cider offering, the Hard Apple Cider from Geissberger is a super sessionable cider that scratches a lot of itches you may have for a straightforward but very flavourful offering. Incredibly juicy, the acidity is assertive but balanced and refreshing, making it very crisp and tangy overall. Could drink a lot of this easily – it could be a good British pub cider. Some sweet elements but still turns somewhat dry.
