Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Funky and acetic. Pungent apple that is earthy.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Semi-smooth, pulpy apples that are thick and peel-focused. Funky, earthy, a bit acetic and sour.
After Taste: Dissipates somewhat quickly, little more pulp in the finish. A bit more woody in the end. Pear-like notes emerge here.
On ice: Dramatically kills carbonation and intensity.
Additional Notes: The Joe by Fleuri is a very unique offering. Smells intense but it isn’t as bold or strong as you’d anticipate. Starts off with heavier elements like funkiness, earthiness and some sourness, but they giveaway to a juicer, more mild experience near the finish. Some trub, unfiltered.
