Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Medley of different apples that are juicy and mature – with some acidic elements.
Initial Taste: Strong bite from carbonation. Quickly acidic with a mature & cellared apple taste.  Some tannins present with farmhouse funk. Heavier mouthfeel.
After Taste: Becomes less apple forward, with more fermentation and other elements present.  Some caramelized apple and stone fruit notes that are slightly saline.
On ice: Thinner and reduced carbonation.

Additional Notes:  This very apple forward offering from Farmgate, the Stagecoach, has significant acidic and mature apple elements. It’s juicy and quite flavourful; as well as a lot of bite and depth elements.  Has a medley of bright apples in the mix. This is a full-flavoured offering that has a nice rustic/normandy style finish.
