Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Juicy, natural, concord grape forward. Some grit.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Plump concord grape juice that is dry. Fermented dessert apple base with some bright elements. A hint of acidity and tannin. Slightly more grapes than apples.
After Taste: Grape becomes even drier, and more grape juice focused. Cleans out quickly and well.
On ice: Thinner bodied. Less sweetness. Shorter flavour profile.
Additional Notes: Ernest’s Grapefull is a concord grape cider that definitely tastes juicy and not-wine like. You get plump, natural concord grape flavours from start to finish. It leans more grape overall, but the apple characteristics are there and they add a bit of a fermented note to the drink overall. Decently dry overall, becomes even more so into the finish. Not there for a long time, but a good time on the palate.
