Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Heavy fresh blueberry. Hint of sweet lemon.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick muddled, mildly tart, juicy, fresh-tasting blueberries. Some fleshy apple notes.
After Taste: Apple almost completely gone, but blueberry remains. Sweet, slightly acidic lemon zest comes through, along with some mild tonic notes. Ends on the blueberry.
On ice: Less carbonation + body. Flavours weakened.
Additional Notes: Ernest’s Blueberry Lemon Cider Seltzer is light on the calories, sugar and alcohol, but actually pretty flavour forward overall. Heavy on the blueberry from start to finish, the apples and lemons make brief appearances, with a bit more tonic flavour and elements, but is truly defined by the blueberry. Light body, easy to drink.
