Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Pungent and earthy lavender. Some peach sweetness.
Initial Taste: Mild bite. A strong earthy and fresh lavender, with a small hint of peach and apple in the background.
After Taste: Lavender becomes fully dominant, with some slight astringent notes.  Earthy and herbed tasting. Muddled finish with floral bouquet notes lingering.
On ice: Lighter, but not much change.

Additional Notes: Nature Study by East Street Cider Co. is a heavily lavender focused cider, and is more of a lavender drink than anything else. Some hints of peach and apple emerge in the base, but it’s very focused on the pungent floral aspects.  You have to like lavender for this one as it gives you an authentic flavour throughout. Earthy and herby at times. The peach is smooth and semi-sweet but is many times dominated by the lavender.
