Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, caramelized apple. Somewhat candied. Effervescent.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite from acidity. Quick strong, pulpy apple notes. Caramel elements with a juicy taste. Buttery hints.
After Taste: Apple flavour remains but dissipates quickly and adds some peel flavours. Tonic aspects amongst mild bitter notes. Slightly off-dry but very bright and clean apple finish.
On ice: Mild reduction in carbonation, but very little difference.

Additional Notes:  The Net Zerø Dry Organic Cider by Duntroon Cyder House not only is an interesting tasting cider, it also has a unique backstory. A rather apple-forward cider, it features a lot of pulpy apple notes that are juicy and caramelized, with some peel notes near the finish. Aftertaste is below average in length however with some tonic and bitter aspects adding depth overall. It has some buttery notes like found in a chardonnay wine. The mission of the cyder is in celebration of their goal to become a fully sustainable, carbon-neutral cyder house. Also features zero sulphites, additives, gluten, sugar and GMO.
