Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Resinous hops with citrus. Mild apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Smooth, hopped offering that’s easy to drink and slightly citrus. Apple is clean and balanced, slightly dry. Not much bitterness, natural sweetness.
After Taste: Lingers a while with a hint of grapefruit. Hops leave a slight resin. Some saline notes.
On ice: Reduced body and intensity overall.
Additional Notes: The Far From The Tree Cider by Dead Horse Cider Co is a smooth, citrus-infused hopped offering. As the name implies, not a lot of apple, but the hops are much smoother than others hopped ciders typically are. A silky body, it has some saline notes in the end. Lingers a bit with a touch of grapefruit in the finish.
