Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Tart, boozy cherry. Dry.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Dry and semi bright apples with a touch of bitterness. Cherry is natural, slightly darker and some tart. 
After Taste: Apple elements have some green and softer notes, but dissipate early in the aftertaste.  Average length with more earthy and yeast notes in the dry finish. 
On ice: Reduced overall flavour and intensity.

Additional Notes:  Winnipeg’s Dead Horse Cider Co’s Cherry on Good Friends is a semi-tart, dry and balanced cherry with a bright apple base.  The apple dissipates and becomes more earthy.   Cherry elements linger a bit along with some fermentation. Some wine-like notes that finish with a fuller body.  The booze-soaked cherries taste like a higher abv than they are at 5%.
