Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Dark cherry that’s a bit tart, a bit medicinal, a bit candied.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Rich black cherry base, slightly candied, some sweetness. A little tartness. Fleshy dessert apple base with hints of leather.
After Taste: Cherry becomes a bit medicinal here. Cherry notes linger a while.
On ice: Thinner bodied. Minimal flavour change.
Additional Notes: Cowbell’s Black Cherry Cider is a small batch, seasonal cider for 2024. Rich with dark, black cherry notes, it’s a bit sweet and a bit tart. Candied, it does have a touch of medicinal notes in the end. A long lingering flavour cherry, it’s focused on this, with the dessert apple base there but not primary. A semi-clean, easy drinking cider with memories of their other offerings.
