Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Tart cherry. Some apple. Hint of barreling.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Semi-tart deep red cherry. Smooth creamy apple follows with a light woody element.  Slight bourbon undertone.
After Taste: Becomes smoother in the aftertaste, but cherry remains a bit tart. Apple dissipates with a little more barreling elements noticeable. Bourbon astringency and essences slowly build.
On ice: Much smoother, less carbonated, less umpf.

Additional Notes:  The Cherry Bourbon offering by County Cider is a lightly carbonated, tart cherry with smooth, semi-creamy, but also definitely fermented tasting dessert apples.  Bourbon slowly builds, as it’s a touch noticeable to get started but more present as you finish the glass.  It lingers and becomes more earthy and woodsy overtime. Some tangy elements, a touch less sweet than a stand-alone County offering.
