Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Steeped tea. Apricot.
Initial Taste: No bite. Quick tea, including light floral notes. Smooth, dry apple thats light in flavour.
After Taste: Rooibos tea notes become more obvious. Rosehip and berry notes are more defined. Apple weakens before tea botanical notes.
On ice: Tea heightened, less apple.
Additional Notes: Clafeld’s Sunset in Niagara is a part of their steeped tea collaboration series with Pluck Tea. This cider is tea-focused, starting more floral and with some dry apple, and ending almost exclusively on the tea. Delicate floral botanical notes that become more rose hip and berry-like in the finish. A light bodied cider that depends on the tea flavours over the apple base. Still, so dont expect carbonation.
