Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet pulpy apple. Bright. Honeydew notes.
Initial Taste: Mild bite and a tingly acidity. Bright Golden Russet and generic yellow apple notes. Dry, fleshy apple. Earthy hints with some acidity.
After Taste: Acidity dwindles. aApple notes are slightly less vibrant and slightly sour here. Unique honeydew notes emerge. Clean and dry finish.
On ice: Minimal change. Slightly less punchy
Additional Notes: Chuldeigh’s Golden Russet Cider is a bright offering for a single varietal – and on the dry side. With a bit of acidity upfront, it’s creamy and has strong golden russet notes throughout. One of the unique factors is the honeydew flavours it presents. A cider that has depth but would not be too intense for most. Tastes a bit different – and less sweet – than it smells. Fermented to extra dry but bright.
