Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Heavy amaretto & almond. Sweet dessert apple hints.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick and strong amaretto taste, that includes some astringency like the liquor. Creamy dessert apple base. Dark cherry notes.
After Taste: Amaretto remains strong and lingers, with some more generic almond-like notes. Mild bitterness. Some lemony-hints. Clean finish, lingering flavour notes.
On ice: Carbonation and astringency reduced. Flavour is the same, easier to determine elements.

Additional Notes:  Chill Street’s Nuts Over You is a wonderful take on an amaretto-tasting cider. With a strong flavour and even some astringency, it is very close to the beloved liqueur from Italy. The apple base is creamy and soft, allowing for the other flavours to shine. Some dark cherry notes in the beginning and mild lemony notes in the finish help add depth and authenticity to its take on an amaretto spirit. Has a very long lingering flavour. Potential allergy warning due to the nuts.
