Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright and semi-sharp apples.  Hints of fermentation.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Sharp apples with a semi-acidic base  Slightly juicy and crisp with some upfront fermentation.Dry with a bit of tart and sour. Raw red peel and earthiness with a bit of floral notes.
After Taste: Aftertaste is not overly long lasting, with some acidity and fermentation left. Floral notes and yeasty esters at finish.
On ice: Reduced flavour and carbonation but not much change.

Additional Notes: The Posie from Carolinia Cider Co is their take on a rosé cider.  In this case, the colour comes from the natural red flesh of the apples used (no additives). The base is filled with sharp, semi-acidic apples that have some crisp and juicy elements, but are dry and slightly floral with tart/sour notes.  The aftertaste is not overly long, but does leave some acidity and fermentation in the end.  Not as intense as their Geneva “rose”.
