Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Golden apple. Slightly earthiness with some brightness.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-smooth and bright golden Dabinett notes with some tartness and tang. A bit of minerality and grit and some peel notes.  Some fermentation and yeast esters notes upfront – mild tropical notes.
After Taste: Quick aftertaste as the apples and any fermentation dissipates and leaves the mouth.  A mostly dry finish. 
On ice: Reduced flavour and intensity.

Additional Notes: The Dabinett 2023 from Carolinia Cider Co is a single varietal cider that well highlights the simplicity of this semi-tannic, slightly tart and tangy apple variety.  Peel and grit + some apple earthiness, it holds some minerality without much of a varying flavour journey.  Yeast esters upfront is where most of the profile is, as the aftertaste is minimal and pretty clean after consumption. Not too complex, but it showcases the authenticity of the Dabinett well.  Some trub and foam when poured.
