Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet medley of berries, some sweet apple notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-sweet candied strawberry and hints of other fruits that transitions to a slightly sour and tart apple with crisp elements. Peel notes are present, similar to that of a green apple.
After Taste: Apple emerges a bit more as the berries dissipate. A generic, but pleasant fruit punch note here. Long-lasting with some lingering syrupy mouthfeels.
On ice: A little watered down and reduced flavour but nothing major.
Additional Notes: The Rosé Cider by Brunch (Organic Beverage Solutions, not the other Brunch Cider in the area) is a brilliant sharp peach colour when poured with some light carbonation. First notes are candied strawberry and other fruits followed quickly by a semi-sweet, crisp green apple that becomes more sour than expected. Longer lingering, the sour apple forward elements (very peel-like) surprised us based on the marketing and branding.
